I am not sure why this indicates a lack of respect for the ECAC.  If it
is because that fine school was called Clarkson College rather than
Clarkson University, that probably indicates that the commentator is a
long time ECAC fan since that was the name until the late 70's (or more
officially "Thomas S. Clarkson Memorial College of Technology").  Try
fitting that on the front of a hockey sweater!
 
My question is: Is Scott Thomas a graduating Senior?  It seems to me he
must be a junior.
