For those of you wondering -- After 1 period the Wildcats and the
Badgers are scoreless.  The first few minutes were all Wisconsin, as
the Badgers had ten shots on goal before the Wildcats got their first.
NMU had numerous chances but good work in front of the Wisconsin net
resulted in virtually no shots on goal for the first ten minutes.
 
The second half of the period saw shots on goals even out a good bit,
but still no scoring.  The Badgers took three penalties and the Wildcats
two; each had one power play.
