After giving up a breakaway goal at 1:05 of the first period, the Minnesota
Golden Gophers scored 10 unanswered goals beating North Dakota 10-1 in
Grand Forks.   The WCHA record of 116 penalty minutes in a game was broken,
though I don't know what the final total was.  The same two teams play on
Saturday night.  If the Gophers win, Minnesota and North Dakota will meet
again the next weekend in Mariucci Arena for the first round of the WCHA
playoffs.
