The University of Maine Black Bears clinched their Zsecond Hockey East Champ-
ionship Friday night with a 5-3 win over Northeastern!  Dave Lacouture scored
twice,including an empty-netter with :33 left,to pace the Bears.  The Bears
then went to "Lively Snively" and rallied from 3-1 down to lead 4-3,before surr
endering a late goal,and ending in a 4-4 tie.   Umaine is now 26-3-2 overall
and 15-2-2 in HE,with 2 games at the Alfond next weekend vs. Providence.
