The University of Vermont Men's Hockey Team can clinch a play-off birth this weekend if they gain 1 point over the Harvard-Brown road trip. If Brown losses or ties any of their games, then Vermont also will see the play-offs. If Vermont comes out of this weekend without any points, and Brown comes out with a sweep of Dartmouth-Vermont, then the ECAC Tiebreaking Procedures will go into effect for the 10th and final Play-off spot. The Official ECAC Tiebreaking Procedures are below (hockey.ecac.com)

1. Comparison of game results between tied teams
2. Comparison of results of games against the top five teams
3. Comparison of results of games against the top ten teams
4. Goal differential in head-to-head competition
5. Goal differential in games against the top five teams
6. Goal differential in games against the top ten teams

PS- I like the "Final-Five" Format, it worked well last year. It gives more teams home ice in the first round, and gets rid of those tuesday night games.
