The University of Maine is working with WZON radio to put its broadcasts of
UMaine hockey on the Internet, but a plan will probably not get done this
year.  Certainly I think the athletic department wants to do this, but last
I heard the radio station was working out its legal issues in terms of bump
music, rights, etc. that may or may not be affected by a move to the internet.
 
Next year I'd say it will happen.  The push is definitely there both inside
and outside the athletic department.
 
The college radio station is also considering putting its occasional hockey
broadcasts on the Internet.
