#8 was John Mayasich's number, and I don't think you can argue about this
one.  He was was easily one of the greatest players to ever come come out
of the Minnesota program (~300 points!!).  I just hope the U doesn't go
overboard and start retiring one of these a year. Believe me, it wouldn't
surprise me if they did.
