Your questions about the what you termed as "violent " behavior in the game
you saw   are a valid and thoughtful.  Evidently you're not the only one with
concerns.
 
Your opinion is shared by many professional sportswriters, neuropsychologists,
trainers, and even economists. None would consider your question or the topic
of "violent" behavior in sports a "JOKE"!  Below, I've listed some periodicals
which are available at your local library. In professional  sports, economics
supersedes  morality all too often. This behavior unfortunately filters down
to the amateur ranks.  "Violent" behavior in sports is  current, relevant, and
a significant social, moral  dilemma.
