Any word on the Kohl Center as a hockey venue? I had season tickets for
years at Dane County which is a horrible arena unless compared to the St.
Paul Civic center-now mercifully torn down.

I'm happy to see 14,000 seats. Mariucci by contrast was too small before
the architects ink was dry. Visiting Wisconsin, North Dakota, St.Cloud and
Duluth could all sell more than 12.500 tickets. What happened when they
opened the new 9300 seat arena, many fans were blocked out because of the
increased participation of big budget buyers, many of whom don't show for
the games. Seeing all the no-shows one wonders if perhaps squeezing your
buns between folks on the benches and missing all the action in the corners
was better.

One final question: does this mean no WCHA arena with beer?
