AKA the Skating Saints. My old radio partner used to roll his
eyes at that name, and I've always regretted not reciprocating over
the St. Kilda Saints of the Australian Football League.

Calling SLU the Larries is fun for the whole family, but doing
so over the PA is as inappropriate as introducing the "Hahvahd"
Crimson (except for those announcers in New England who have no
choice, dialectically speaking). If you want to get even, just tell
your PA Announcer to refer to Rensselaer as "RIP" the next time they
come to Appleton. :-)

Disclaimer: All in fun, folks. And yes, I have heard the
alternate words to the Cornell Alma Mater, thank you very much.
