I stand by my statements.  I think the tenor of the conversation has been that the Boston
rivalries ARE more intense than any of the others.  Despite your denial, that is certainly
the way this post comes across, and I disagree.  If anyone likes, I can enumerate the
things that compensate for such proximity.  Besides, you are factually incorrect when you
say that it is unlike any other rivalry anywhere in college sports.  Everything you say
about the Beanpot is true of Big Five basketball in Philadelphia.
