                                        Todd Gustin (CC) x- 8-8-2 18 (45:00)
not clear why colin left, could have been the two goals late or
the recurrent groin injury. Todd played well. Both goalies came
up big at times. wagner faced 2 breakaways and sopped both
the shots tell my perspective of the sideness of the game

Head Referee: John Boche Assistant Referees: Dan Carey, Kris Schoech
Since the coaches are prohibited from badmouthing the officials, I
won't either, but in post game interviews, one coach suggested to
a newspaper that the paper quote both me and a radio announcer
        about the officiating.

Scoring Penalties Time
FIRST PERIOD
G1-CC CAM KRYWAY 4 (Brian Swanson 22) 0:18
CC gets off to an early lead and the fans are having visions of
        Cindy Crawford
                P1-CC Dan Peters (2-tripping) 1:57
                P2-DU Anders Bjork (2-checking from behind) 2:23
on a breakaway by Brian Swanson
                P3-DU Paul Comrie (2-tripping) 6:43
                P4-DU Jon Newman (2-roughing) 13:25
                P5-CC Berk Nelson (2-roughing) 16:16
2 cases of calling the retaliation only
G2-DU ANDERS BJORK 11 (Mark Rycroft 12, Stephen Wagner 2) PPG 18:02
PPG is a misnomer as it was a defensive mess up on the initial
        rush up the ice
G3-DU BRYCE WALLNUTT 2 (Derek Robertson 8) 18:37
and DU gets a lead in a period most everybody thought was CC
dominated. The Tiger Faithful are seing their dream turn into
        Mark Crawford.
                P6-CC Darren Clark (2-roughing) 20:00
and to cap it off darren gets a retaliation call at the buzzer
SECOND PERIOD
                        Zulianello out, Gustin in 0:00
G4-DU ANDERS BJORK 12 (Mark Rycroft 13, Joe Ritson 18) PPG 1:01
visions now turn to broderick crawford
G5-CC DAN PETERS 5 (Jason Gudmundson 14, Jon Austin 22) 2:10
        this one was all dan.
                P7-DU Jon Newman (2-roughing) 7:09
                P8-CC Paul Johnson (2-roughing) 7:09
ahhhh finally calling both sides instead of just the retaliation
                P9-DU Shawn Kurulak (2-holding) 8:27
G6-CC CAM KRYWAY 5 (Darren Clark 10, Jason Gudmundson 15) PPG 9:56
not quite back to cindy crawford, but getting close
this next skirmish is bizarre to say the least. Peterson and
murphy are tussling in the net and the linesmen are in the net
with them tryiong to break it up, and Kelly and Karps are almost
playing pat-a-cake. My only guess is that the ref said something
like "knock it off or you are gone" and they didn't and they were.
The PA anounced the majors as for "Punching" but no gloves came
        off.
                P10-DU Kelly Popadynetz (5-fighting) 12:07
                P11-DU Kelly Popadynetz (10-game disqualification) 12:07

                P13-DU Joe Murphy (2-roughing) 12:07
                P14-CC Aaron Karpan (5-fighting) 12:07
                P15-CC Aaron Karpan (10-game disqualificaton) 12:07
                P16-CC Ian Petersen (2-slashing the goalie) 12:07
                P17-CC Ian Petersen (2-roughing) 12:07
G7-DU JOE RITSON 3 (unassisted) 14:46
brian swanson has his pocket picked and ritson is in alone.
G8-DU MARK RYCROFT 10 (unassisted) 17:05
oops, DU get the 2 goal lead back Hello broderick.
G9-CC T.J. TANBERG 7 (Calvin Elfring 19, Jason Gudmundson 16) 19:06
        the gap is 1
THIRD PERIOD
G10-CC DARREN CLARK 18 (Brian Swanson 23) 0:13
        that should teach the late-comers
G11-DU BRYCE WALLNUTT 3 (Derek Robertson 9, Shawn Kurulak 27) 4:41
        DU takes the lead again
                P18-DU Ryan Hacker (2-roughing) 13:51
                        Time out Colorado College 14:31
G12-CC CALVIN ELFRING 5 (K.J. Voorhees 12, Brian Swanson 24) PPG 14:39
The chalk talk must have worked
OVERTIME
