The  only poll I look with any trust  is the RPI. All the other polls seem
to be biased popularity contests, voted on by people who haven't even seen
many of the teams play. I guess they do provide entertainment and discussion
among college hockey fans, and could fire up some teams that feel that they
are being overlooked, so I guess they might have  some value.
