Almost everyone's favorite this week was The Fighting Souix of No.
Dakota, capturing 9 of 11 first place votes.  The break proved to be a
nightmare for some schools, while others enjoyed a little time in the
spotlight.
        All six teams named on every ballot had a wide range of votes,
with the narrowest margin being from 2nd to 7th place.  BU's losses have
cut them dout of eveyone's number one spot, with no one ranking the
Terriers higher than 2nd this week..
        And welcome to Northeastern, making an appearance in the poll for
the first time this season.  One interesting note on Northeastern (in my
opinion) is that the Huskies play the 31st toughest schedule (by RPI), yet
they appear in several polls, have a feature on USCHO, and got more than
one Top 5 vote in this poll.  I can only think that this is because they
sit atop the HEA.  Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but the Huskies
haven't played either  UNH or BU yet this season...  Here's wishing them
continued success...
