An inexpert assessment - if you don't agree, ignore it.
 
The big teams (size) MTU and Mich, the fast teams St.Lawrence and Mich.
 
My one word descriptor for St. Lawrence - pesky - in every positive sense
of the word.  They frustrated Mich who outshot them (5:2) the last I looked
by zipping in and out, getting shots to go wide, slide by harmlessly
get stopped by the goalie and then shot up ice trying to get a man out
in front.  They led MTU a lot and could just as well have won.  They made
for two exciting games to watch (for those of us who watch instead of
understanding).

The rest of the penalties came in pairs - no power play or sh goals.
No penalties 3rd period.
Referees Piatrowski (Pearson, Dobrwelewski(State Journal spelling, I'll
accept it - but there's gotta be a z som'eres.
