RIT News over the weekend from the D&C
Friday:
 
RIT 9, North Adams St. 3:
At North Adams State, Tom Massaschi scored two goals, Scott MacNair had two
goals and an assists for RIT.  Derrick Barnett(Fairport) made 42 saves for
RIT (8-6-1).  North Adams 3-8-1.
 
Saturday:
 
RIT 4, American International 4:
At Springfield, Mass., Jim Kartes(senior, Aquinas) and Jason Supryka each
had two goals for RIT.  Pat Moriarity scored twice for AIC, which took a
3-0 lead at 15:39 of the first period on his second of the game.  Kartes
scored 19:11 of the first to make it 3-1, and Supryka (6:04) and Kartes (7:05)
tallied early in the second to tie it, 3-3.  Steve Sangermano put AIC up, 4-3,
at 11:53 of the third before Supryka tied it again with his second goal at
14:25.  RIT goaltender Derrick Barnett(freshman, Fairport) made 27 saves.
RIT 8-6-2, AIC 4-8-1.
