Well, as new administrator to the list, let me stick my oar in here.
 
The split between Hockey-L and Info-Hockey-L is a fact that is unlikely
to be changed for the present.  Surprisingly (at least it was to me),
there is not much overlap between the lists.  In any case, discussion on
that topic more properly belongs on the meta list, Hockey.
 
As to scores, I like to see scores posted.  Specifically, I like the
digest that Lynn Burke often posts.  However, the list is primarily for
discussion of college hockey.  Game summaries with line scores more
properly belong on info-h-l while commentaries on the games with
opinions more properly belong on this list.  I do think in would be best
to avoid a number of postings of the nature
"Byzantium U. defeats Hollyhock 6-5" - if the ONLY thing you have to
post is the score from a single game, it is perhaps best to send it to
info-h-l.  OTOH, if you have some commentary about that 6-5 game, then
this is the place for it.
 
This is also the place to post polls and opinions about the polls, as
well as opinions on the whole spectrum of college hockey ranging from
rules to coaching to Hobey Baker finalists.  And I want to thank
everyone for keeping the list a friendly place to visit.  :-)
