You choose an odd point to emphasize, especially in counterpoint to the
Michigan comment.
Misery loves company, perhaps?
It isn't unusual for a goalie who sees so little action to not be sharp, if
indeed Alban wasn't sharp.
Maybe they were good plays?
Also, the score was 3-3.
Also, Guelph was defending Canadian collegiate champion.
Also, Guelph lost a previous early-season game to MSU, 7-4.
Also, MSU has been on the ice with coaches for a week.
But you are right: BU will come on stronger.
So will Alban.

Anyone worried about Alban's performance against
Guelph? He let in 3 goals out of a grand total of
9 shots over 3+ periods. Michigan State totally
dominated Guelph on a shot basis. Maybe, his poor
performance was a product of him being bored
senseless.
If this is an indication of a problem, Mich. State
better hope its solved quickly ... the mighty,
mighty Boston Univ. Terriers come on a bit
stronger than Guelph.
