Sometime over the holiday season I was watching cable TV and saw that MSU's
goalie, Gilmore, had the "A" on his jersey for alternate captain.  Is this
just an honorary-type thing?  It was my understanding that the goalie cannot
serve as team captain.  Or was I wrong about that?
