I also found this week's TCHCR rating very interesting.
 
I had the pleasure of seeing Wisconsin whip Yale on 12/27 (the whipping
only took place in the 3rd period, the rest of the game was good), and
was very happy to hear about the exciting win over Maine.  But
seriously, I don't see Wisconsin as a #7 team, nor do I think Maine or
Yale deserved to drop as much as they did.  Especially Yale.  Wow!
 
Yale played well, but fell apart in the 3rd.  Their goalie was awesome
for 2 periods, but got frustrated in the 3rd.  You could tell (after the
5th goal, he shrugged, as if saying, "of _course_ it went in -- it just
isn't my night").
 
I guess the season is still just too young to expect stability in the
ratings.
 
That was the first, and probably only, Badger game I'll see this season
(they just don't come out to NJ often enough ;-).  Their defense is
greatly improved over last year, IMO, but they still have problems
passing and getting plays set up.
