Melanie, thanks to you and the others at UAA (including one of your
fans on the list with whom I exchanged "side messages" earlier in
the week(s).  I'm going to have to get a hold of our radio guys and
ask them what was with that obviously very wrong remark they made
during the NMU-UAA broadcast!   :)

Hey Eric, is this The Plain Dealer you're talking about?  Good for
them!  I've been thinking about a mail subscription, since despite my
20-plus years in the Pacific Northwest I'm actually a northeastern
Ohio native and a rabid Browns--and yes (can you believe it?!)--Indians
fan.  Getting college hockey coverage to make me feel a Northern
Michigan connection would make the picture complete.

Is this RIGHT?  Are there 130 hockey-playing colleges & universities?
I suppose if you count not only US NCAA Div I but Div II and III and
NAIA it may be possible--but maybe it also includes Canadian institu-
tions?
