          Michigan Tech 6   Michigan state 5
 
        Tech jumped out to a 6-3 lead and held on for the win.  The line of
          Storm (2 goals and 3 assists), Young (2 goals and 3 assists) and
          Steer (3 assists) collected 13 points and was on the ice for all
          6 Tech Goals.

  Tech skated with Michigan until near the end of the second period, when up
     only 2-1 michigan scored 2 late goals plus 3 more unanswered in  the 3rd
     to take their 4th straight GLI Title.  Only MTU has won more straight (5)
     in the history of the tournament.  Freshman Defensman Liam Garvey scored
     Tech's only goal, His first in a Huskie uniform.
 
  Tech returns to the John McGinnis Student Ice Arena next friday and Saturday
     to Face off against Minnesota.
