Wayne Smith has asked me to apologize to Luiz publicly for my comments about
Princeton-Brown.
 
I respect Wayne a lot --- and I know damn well I should've kept the message
private.  My frustration got the best of me.
 
I can apologize to everyone on the list for that message.  But to Luiz I
cannot.  He knows that me, and many others, have been trying to reason with him
for two years about this topic.  No matter what we do or say, no matter what we
point out, or what any other impartial ECAC fan points out, it doesn't matter.
I just continue to hear the same thing, again, and again and again, from the
some people.
 
I have tried hard to become an impartial observer on this list --- and I'm
afraid I may have blown it with one fell swoop.  But I hope at least some
people can understand the frustration of being the only person on the list who
sees Princeton play every game, then have to hear the bi-annual blatant
mischaracterizations that pass as fact.
 
I'm sorry for the vicious personal attacks, and I'm sorry for opening this can
of worms.  But trust me, I've probably hurt myself and my professional
reputation more than the list.
