Tracey:
apparently the injury was a concussion, and he was not talking well,
didn't recognise family members, and had some paralysis.  The news
reported last night that he was out of intensive care, but still in
the hospital.  They seemed to say he was out for the season.
 
I've taken the liberty of responding to the lists, info because this
is info, and hockey-l because the folk there who heard your question
deserve a response too...
