Good game tonight. For once, Cornell didn't give up the first
goal of the game. That's a good sign I suppose.

There were quite a few defensive lapses which led to quite a
number of Colgate odd-man rushes and breakaways. Elliott played perhaps
his best game of the year, and the team needed it.

Although freshman Ryan Moynihan didn't have any points, he
certainly made his presence known. His offensive prowess directly led to
the Colgate penalty which led to Cornell's first goal. He also had
several other good chances. Moynihan is really impressive for a freshman.

Are Colgate's Mike Harder and Shep Harder related? Would seem
weird that one if a forward and the other a goalie, but Harder isn't
exactly a common name.

Any report on Vinnie Auger's recovery from his injury? When's he
expected back?

Is it me, are the this year's Cornell Big Red Bears inferior to
past years? They hardly do anything at all. I remember last year's Bear
doing a handstand on top of the goal, among other things.

Weird stats occurrence: Elliott and Colgate goalie Dan Brenzavich
had the exact same amount of saves in ALL three periods. I found this
kinda bizarre and funny.

There was virtually no Colgate fan presence tonight. I think
this is largely due to the fact that it is on Tuesday night. That makes
it very difficult for Colgate students to cartrip to and from the game in
Ithaca. Do the schedulemakes take such things into consideration at
all when making schedules?

        OK enough rambling...
