The Colorado College Tigers pulled out a sweep Sun afternoon @ the
Air Force Cadet Ice Arena,3-2. Trailling 2-1 going into the third period
the Tigers scored twice in the final period to get thier first sweep of
the season.
 
Sophmore Darren Clark was by far the palyer of the game he left the 2nd
period early to get stiches into the back of his head. As he enterend the
ice later than the rest of the team he recieved a standing O. He scored
early in the third to tie the game 3-3.
 
Jon Austin gets the game winner on the powerplay off of Eric Ruds shot
from the point with about 9 minutes to go in the game, and
the CC Tigers hold on to win 3-2.
 
Colorado College was out shot in the 1st Per. 14-7, but the Pioneers had
nothing left after the 1st intermission. CC turned it around in the 2nd
by out shootingg DU 16-8 in the pentaly filled second Per. DU had 4
penalties to CC none in the 2nd.
 
The home ice advantage came into play for the Tigers in this one as it
usually does up at the Air Force Arena.
