I don't see the sioux "upsetting" the gophers this weekend.
I'll be suprised if they split the series.
 
Here are a few facts:
    The gophers have never lost to the sioux at the new Mariucci Arena.
(4wins, 0loses, 2ties)
    The gophers have the best penalty killing percentage in the WCHA.
    The gophers have had twice as many penalty minutes as North Dakota
thru the first six games, a trend that woog will not allow to continue.
Minnesota is 25-3-2 at home over the last 30 games. Losing only to CC
twice and to Denver once.
 
Good luck to the North Dakota fans.  At least the driving from Grand
Forks to Minneapolis looks pretty good with only flurries planned for
the northern half of the trip.

Golden Gopher Hockey Fans Second To None On ESPN: Over the
course of the last two weeks, Internet users on ESPNET SportsZone have
had the opportunity to select the Best of the Campus Crazies, a contest
aimed at selecting the best and craziest groups of fans in college
sports. The University of Minnesota hockey fans were selected as the
second best fans in the nation, coming in behind Duke basketball fans in
the finals, in results which were announced on Oct. 28. The Golden
Gopher hockey fans edged out programs such as Georgia football (55
percent to 45 percent), Clemson football (52 to 48), and Kansas
basketball (51-49) on their way to the finals, where they were defeated
by the Duke hoop fans. The Cameron Crazies gathered 61.8 percent of the
5,082 votes.
