Rule 4, Penalties
Section 6, Penalty Shot / Optional minor penalty
Paragraph g: If any player of the opposing team interferes with or
distracts the player taking a penalty shot and thereby causes the shot to
fail, a second attempt shall be permitted and the referee shall impose a
misconduct penalty on the offending player.
 
Rule 6, Playing Rules
Section 1, Abuse of Officials and Other Misconduct
Paragraph c: A bench minor penalty shall be assessed against any player,
coach or nonplaying person who bangs the board with a stick or other
instrument. If a player persists in such action, the individual shall be
assessed a misconduct penalty. If a coach or nonplaying person persists in
such actions, a game misconduct penalty shall be assessed.
