Cipolla was Yale's leading scorer this season (15-19-34) and was
voted the team's Most Inspirational Player. He stands about 5'8",
but plays hockey like he's 6'2" - and I suspect that he didn't hesitate
to get involved when a friend was threatened. He, like Hockey-L's
own Ian Kennish, is a distinguished alumnus of Toronto's Upper
Canada College. I noticed that Jason had a brief tryout with the
AHL's St. John's Maple Leafs (4 games, no points). Here's hoping
that he's back on the ice soon.
