Somebody asked for verification that Harvard was getting a recruited
goaltender this fall. The player's name is Peter Zakowich (Oakville, CT),
who played his high school hockey at Deerfield Academy.  Peter was an
important part of Deerfield's success this year, he made the New England
Prep School Ice Hockey Association All-Star Team, and he was "the" MVP or
"an" MVP of the 1994 Hockey Night in Boston summer tournament. After some
adjustments to the speed of the college game, I think that Peter will give
Tripp Tracy a good run for the starting job (although the senior will likely
get the benefit of the doubt, and rightly so).  Also, Peter is a fine
student, and president of the Deerfield Academy chess club.
