As a 1985 graduate from Notre Dame who was dirrectly involved with the Hockey
team in 1982 when the descision was made to drop the sport to club level, I can
only say that it is about time Notre Dame remedied this wrong.
 
Cangratulations to Coach Shafer and tHe entire Irish hockey team - present and
future.  I am greatly looking forward to seeing you play in the CCHA again!
