Just an observation:  but I have noticed that most of the goalies I have
known in my lifetime have been somewhat insane.  I think it is the
requirement of a good goalie.  My favorite story involves a freshman goalie
who showed up for his first day of practice (this was a college club team
so he had no rep coming in) wearing a shirt "Forwards are Stupid".  Good
goalie though.
