Interesting was an article in the Boston Globe recently (today?) that
put this in a slightly different light.  Lane is quoted as saying that
it is *not* a concussion, but that "something definitely happens".  It
also said that no doctor since high school has told him that he was in
danger of long-term harm, but that he "still remembers" the words of that
first doctor.  This seems significantly different to me.  Personally, I'd
love to see him play again.
