Background: HOCKEY-L stores all postings to the list, as space is
available.  These are grouped in files.  Through May of this year, they
were stored in monthly logs named, for example, HOCKEY-L LOG9105.
 
Starting this month, these files are stored on a weekly basis, because
of their size.  The first two logs for this month, for example, are
named HOCKEY-L LOG9106A and HOCKEY-L LOG9106B.
 
This shouldn't affect those of you on BITNET/CREN that search the logs
interactively with LDBASE, nor, for that matter, those of you that
submit mail "jobs" to search the logs.
 
If you submit mail to [log in to unmask] to obtain the logs, this
does affect you (in the body of the mail enter GET HOCKEY-L LOG9106B,
for example).
