UNPREDICTABILITY CONTINUES IN TOPSY-TURVY CCHA
NEXT CONFERENCE GAMES ON FRIDAY, DECEMBER 2
ANN ARBOR -- Bowling Green moved back into first place by defeating Notre Dame
and Western Michigan. Illinois @ Chicago tied at Ferris State and won at Lake
Superior, while Ohio State tied at both Lake Superior and Ferris State.
Nine of the 11 CCHA schools (including UAF) will be in action over Thanksgiving
with Ferris State and Ohio State taking the weekend off. Alaska Fairbanks
hosts the Third Annual Great Alaska Face-Off with Illinois @ Chicago, Western
Michigan and UMass.-Lowell participating in the round-robin tournament.
Michigan and Michigan State face WCHA members Minnesota and Wisconsin in the
College Hockey Showcase in St. Paul, Minnesota. Lake Superior travels to ECAC
members Vermont and St. Lawrence, while Miami visits Clarkson, Vermont and St.
Lawrence. Notre Dame heads to Los Angeles for the Great Western Freeze-Out,
while Bowling Green plays two exhibition games in Toronto at the University of
Toronto Can/Am Challenge.
