Just a few quick notes on the Lowell Chiefs (22-8-7).
-----------------------------------------------------

Center Eric Brown (Broken Wrist) could be back in time for the NCAA
tournament, provided the Chiefs get a bid.

Left wing Ryan Sandholm was back in uniform last night after a 5 week hiatus.
He played well in limited action and had a couple of scoring chances.

Defenseman Paul Botto and Marc Salsman sat out last night to make room for
Sandholm and Bill Riga (Assist last night).

The old Travis "Hit Man" Tucker seems to be back to old form. Tuck had
10 penalty minutes and a whopping 13 hits in last nights game vs. Merrimack.
I must say, after the 2nd penalty, the refs seemed to single him out and
his last couple were retaliation for getting cross checked in the back,
refs always seem to miss that first shot, don't they? You could hear chants
of "Tuck-er" echoing through the PITTIFUL CROWD at the Joe Tully forum last
night. This city just had no respect for a good hockey team! Merrimack had
very few fans, but the chiefs fans were also scarce. Hey Lowell, these guys
are one of the top 10 teams in the land, where the hell are ya?
