In a total lack of coordination, the NCAA hockey tournament seedings
were announced this afternoon. The original plan was to announce them
tonight, after the WCHA Tournament Championship game. Then, the
committee announced that they would be released 45 minutes after the
WCHA consolation game. However, no one told the NCAA office, which
released the tournament seedings this afternoon, making it official
that neither the WCHA consolation game (North Dakota-Wisconsin, then in
progress) nor the championship game had any relevance for the NCAA
tournament...
