I think those of you who feel that the Ferraro Brothers and Kariya
shouldn't play in the Olympics aren't seeing things from their end.
Schools make large sums of money by selling: shirts, posters, cards,
pins and tickets because of the "Star" hockey players. The players don't
get any of that money or any other form of hard cash from their college.
How much do you guys and girls going to Maine pay for your education?
I don't know but I'm sure it's between $10,000 and $30,000! Now most
players get in for free but how much is Maine making off of these guys.
Maybe 2x what you pay; I bet it's more!
The only thing these guys are getting is an education (like you)! They
could play QMJHL, AHL (maybe) and OHL hockey. They could be making money
and get the same (if not more) exposure!
Don't you think they should be allowed to have a few perks? After all,
they do much more for their college then most of you!
