And those who are pro-MAAC auto-bid are missing the point with their arguements
as well. There are two camps opposed to the MAAC's autobid. The smaller one is
based on them taking away a bid from a Big 4 team, which is the one you
adequately address and I agree, that we should be about expanding the
tournament to include every conference.

The larger camp against the MAAC's bid is based on their leadership's apparent
lack of morals, understanding, and citizenship. Most people in this camp would
readily agree that the MAAC and CHA should have bids regardless of their
competitive ability, but the MAAC's actions in other matters should cause some
sort of action to be taken against them. Their classless act against Findlay
was despicable enough, but now that they're going ahead and sponsering the
season shortening legislation even after the ECAC has dropped their support
just compounds the problem.

In fact I think they should give the MAAC's big to the CHA until the MAAC
schools either force Ensor and Taylor to apoligize for their actions, recieve a
serious reprimand, leave, or get canned (or a combination of any of those
options).
