In a stunning reversal from the previous night's blowout, Northern
Michigan's Wildcats defeated the nation's top-ranked Division I team,
Colorado College, 6-3 tonight at Lakeview Arena in Marqquette.  Freshman
goalie Scott Mitchell, making his first collegiate appearance, made 47
saves to lead the effort.  The game was tied 3-3 going into the final
period, but the 'Cats scored three times while shutting out the Tigers
in the finale.
