The College Hockey Discussion List Poll for December 22, 1993:
Teams were given 15 points for a first-place vote, 14 for a second-place
vote, and so on down to 1 point for a fifteenth-place vote. Total first-
place votes are in parentheses.
Not a lot of movement this week, due in part to the abbreviated schedule.
However, there were a couple of oddities -- namely, Bowling Green and Brown
both jumping three spots in the rankings despite not playing at all last
weekend. The split with Ferris State cost Maine a couple of places, and
perhaps the backlash from Saturday's loss affected fellow Hockey East member
Northeastern, as they also dropped two spots in the poll (though Mass Lowell
apparently was not adversely affected, moving up one).

The media seems to have hit its pre-Christmas lull as far as polls are
concerned, as the only one I saw was the College Hockey USA one.

Well, so much for HOCKEY-L's close agreement with the computer rankings. At
least there's a consensus as to who #1 is...
