This is from the WJC site. I know somethings get lost in the translations,
but what does "probation" mean??

Pardubice - IIHF Directory on its meeting appointed the disciplinary
committee from the representatives of Sweden, Finland, Czech Republic,
Belarus and Canada. Disciplinary committee discussed the fight after the
match RUS - SUI.
The final verdict:
Player No. 16 Alexandre Svitov is suspended for two matches
Head coach of Russia Vladimir Plyuschev is suspended for one match, because
he did not manage the situation.
Players of Russian team No. 10 Sergei Soin, No. 21 Igor Grigorenko, No. 28
Andrei Taratuchin were given the probation for the next game.
Player of Switzerland Team No. 4 Beat Forster was given the probation for
the next game.
Warning for the head coach of Switzerland Jakob Kölliker.
The case of spitting during the match CAN - RUS, IIHF Directory declared,
that such an incident is unacceptable and improper.
