Yes, he does, though he appears to be #3 behind Jason Gates and Shawn
Murray. Weder had played in one game this season before the National
Capital Tournament in Ottawa, and he had allowed 6 goals on 38 shots
in 59:05 for a 6.10 GAA and .842 save %; he was 0-1-0. Career, he'd
played in 7 games, 0-3-0, 5.59 GAA and .829 sv%.
But this past weekend, he played almost all of both games. In the
semifinal against Ottawa, he relieved Murray after one with the score
3-0 Ottawa, and he allowed only one goal the rest of the way on 19
shots (Ottawa added an ENG to win, 5-2). Saturday night in the
consolation, he played the whole game and allowed 3 goals on 30 shots
(8-3 Colgate win) to Western Ontario, ranked third across Canada.
Those performances got him named to the All-Tourney Team. So he may
have moved up from that #3 spot by now.
