LaRue stopped 20 of 22 shots in playing the second half of Saturday's game.
Included among his saves were eight on point-blank shots in the third
period.
LaRue, a tight end on the football team and a slugger on the baseball team,
enjoyed his four months in goalie pads.
``I really had a fun time. I love hockey, I feel like I improved,'' said
LaRue, who played high school hockey at Minnetonka. ``I can't say now what
I'll do. I'll see what works out. I'd like to keep playing, but I know you
can't do all things.''

The stats for the CC-MN game are:
Adam Hauser (28:29) 5 2 X = 7 (4 GA)
Rob LaRue (30:54 L) X 7 13 = 20 (2 GA)
Does Woog have to reconsider this position for next year? They are going
to need an excellent goalie to back up what could be another dismal year
for Gopher goal scoring.
