From us and 6,263 others in Maruicci Arena (well, there were a few Tech
fans there, so make it about 6,200 others).

Jeff Stolp said (quoted in the St. Paul Pioneer Press), "It was a bomb. I
couldn't move". Stolp left the game, got six stitches in the forehead, and
returned to the Gopher bench for the last minute of the game.

Well, we're hoping to see the Gophers finish it up tonight, but if the Huskies
play like they did last night, it won't be easy. Tech has improved immensely
since last season, and it is clear that their days at the bottom of the WCHA
are completely behind them.
