The Wildcats of Northern Michigan blanked the Tigers of Colorado College
in front of a capacity 4,032 fans at Lakeview Arena in Marquette.  The
7-0 final score in game one of the best of three series gave NMU its
19th consecutive victory and 30th consecutive victory at home.
 
Freshman Tony Szabo scored a hat trick while leading scorer Scott
Beattie tallied his 43rd goal of the season.
