	The Union College Skating Dutchmen completed their first sweep of the
Maine trip since 1983 with a 5-4 win at Bowdoin on Friday night and a 4-1 win
at Colby on Saturday afternoon. A detailed summary of the Bowdoin game has
already been posted here, so I'll just add a few comments about that game and
summarize the Colby game.
 
Union 5, Bowdoin 4.
 
Union goalie Shayne White improved his season record to 7-2-1, including 5-0-1
in his last 6 starts. Terry Campbell's 4 assists pushed his career point total
to 160.

Summary:
	Rick Burchill's 2 goals along with Jeff Jiampetti's 3 points led Union
to a 4-1 victory over Colby College, in what was an afternoon game following a
night game for both teams. Both teams started out slow, but then Union got the
offense going halfway through the first period, on goal by Jiampetti and
Burchill.
	Union dominated the 2nd period, outshooting Colby 10-3. Burchill scored
a 5:58 to give the Dutchmen a 3-0 lead. Craig Ferrero's power play goal gave
Union a 4-0 lead. The goal was Ferrero's 100th career point. He is the 12th
player in team history to reach 100 points.
	Union let Colby get back into the game in the in the 3rd, as Jim
Phillips scored at 6:07. Union played for defense the rest of the game, and
held on to the 3 goal lead.
	Union improves to 15-4-3 overall and 14-3-3 in the league, in 5th place
just .003 points behind 4th place RIT, which now stands at 13-3-2. Colby falls
to 7-8-4. The Dutchmen return to action Tuesday night at Oswego.
