To add to Mark's report:
 
As may be expected, Wisconsin Coach Jeff Sauer used the midweek
non-conference game to try some new line combinations and see some
players who haven't gotten much ice time this season.  The winning goal
was scored by freshman Blayne Moore, who fits into that catagory.
 
This doesn't excuse the Wisconsin defensive collapse in the third
period, nor take anything away from Fairbanks, who didn't give up and
deserved their goals.
