Well the ECAC has 12 teams so only 8 of the 12 make it. A little more
reasonable, sort of the same lines as the NHL playoffs. Didn't realize it was
that way in the WCHA too. I had guessed that those conferences having fewer
teams would only go with the top 4. Suppose it makes more games for the fans
to enjoy (there's a positive spin to everything, just ask Lee Atwater).
