The Penn State Icers defeated the University of Rhode Island
4-0 on Saturday, to take the 1991 Nittany Lion Invitational.
PSU defeated West Chester 9-0 on Friday night to advance to
the finals; while URI beat Eastern Michigan 6-5 in the other
semi-final.  West Chester lost 5-6 to Eastern Michigan in overtime
in the consolation match on Saturday.
 
PSU is ranked as the No. 2 club team in the nation with URI,
EMU and WCU ranked as Nos. 5,6 & 9 respectively.  The Icers
are 17-3-1 for the season.
